Cold crystal tones with fabric puffs. Vintage button closure and embellishments.

Heavily embellished necklace. Brown seaweed base with north sea urchins and foamy bubbles. The sterling silver elements are hand pierced.

Lobster Creels marked with neon bouys on rough seas.

Warm metallic shades of brown and gold complemented with pink and blue.

Dark blue freeform necklace accented with Suffolk puffs, vintage buttons and sea urchin. Highly textured, lightweight and fairly flat profile.

Statement necklace worked in peyote stitch with signature sea urchin elements. Asymmetric with lots of movement. Looks amazing against skin. Bold style in a muted colour palette making this big piece surprisingly easy to wear.

Working in beads freed me to use and abuse colour. I never met two beads that couldn’t look good together. Some linking colours to clash or calm hold pieces together. I came across a sample of honesty seed head that I had worked up some months ago. I’d forgotten all about it. I quite like them and I think there’s some potential in exploring further.

I’ve picked up this old piece and started piling on. The original was quite sparse and it’s already looking more purposeful. Sticking to a very limited palette for this first big piece in a while.
